There was one word that consistently came to my mind during our stay: charm. The people were charming. Well before our arrival, they had sent a personal welcome text. Not some AI generated crap. Something personal. They responded to my reply within two minutes. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was cheerful. Even the sweet girl at the desk at 5 who had to get up when I took my dog out. She had to unlock the front door. This is an older property. That shouldn’t be confused with worn out or a cheapened experience. Far from it. If you can live outside the modern gestalt of veneer, this proper can take you back to another time. Moreover, the company that owns this property and others, Heritage, seems to intentionally focus on character and humanity. This was evident in all our interactions.
A couple of points: didn’t find a ramp from the street level without going through the garage. That may be my issue. The other little thing to know is that the night we were there the onsite restaurant Hawt doesn’t serve pizza. That’s inconvenient. But, there’s lots of other walking distance locations.
We will definitely come here again and heartily recommend you stay here. Treat these people nice. Too many self-serving individuals run what is good. We loved it here!
