We stayed at this hotel between November 1st and November 2nd, on the last night of our vacation, and chose the hotel for convenience as we had an early flight. It was our third time staying at this hotel, but it’s highly doubtful that we’ll ever stay there again.
We arrived in the evening around 9 PM and were assigned a room on the 1st floor, and after staying in the room for about 15-20 minutes we noticed an insect crawling on the curtain (see photo). We notified the reception staff, who were slow and uncaring in responding to the issue, but eventually took care of the insect. About 10 minutes later another insect crawled out from under the bed, and we contacted the reception staff again. They were unwilling at first to change the room for us, as they claimed they were fully booked, and reluctant to help in any other way or offer any compensation, but they finally assigned us a different room on the 2nd floor. We were told to take our time changing rooms and return with the old room keys at our convenience, but instead we were nearly chased from the room by the cleaning lady and the reception staff member, which was rather stressful on top of the experience we already had. I naturally felt the need to check the new room before moving all of our things there, which we tried to explain, and only then were we met with understanding. The new room was bug-free but hadn’t been cleaned in a while, but at this point we were too tired to complain further.
Very disappointed.
