Aside from the Hotel, Room, and Staff, which were all fantastic, the biggest issue I had was with booking the room through Expedia and my final billing amount.
I booked my reservation the night before at a rate of $94/Night (which is what it reflected online with several of the rooms), around $120/night w/tax, and the primary reason I chose Hampton Inn. I even confirmed it with a corp AMEX.
However, when I received my intinerary from Expedia a few hours later, I was charged $144/night ( $50), or $164/night w/tax. I called Expedia and per customer service, there wasn't anything they could do.
I don't know who was at fault, Hampton Inn (according to Expedia) or Expedia. Nonetheless, it's kind of unethical in my opinion to be billed nearly $60 more than what I confirmed online the night prior to arrival.
What I do know, is that after this occuring w/Expedia previously, I won't be using their services any longer.
