DON'T Do It
I have never stayed in such a disgusting hotel. The floors hadn't been vacuumed in a long time as there was dirt (including finger/toe nail clippings?) all along the walls and in the middle of floor. The carpet had holes in it. The toilet seat was loosely connected to the toilet, the shower curtain had several dark, multicolored stains on it, the shelf had been ripped out of the shower and there was toothpaste all along the wall behind the sink. The hairdryer mount was hanging off the wall. Several times throughout our stay a man was screaming in the hallway. When room service was asked to vacuum, she wouldn't do it because she said it was clean. She then left without cleaning or replacing the linens as was advertised. Upon check-in the man behind the desk took a call from a guest asking for his room to be cleaned. The employee became argumentative and asked him why he didn't think his room was cleaned. The employee hung up on the caller, turned to another employee, and said that the man thought his room wasn't serviced because of racism. The employee who took the phone call asked if that (racism) was a problem& said he was sure that his room was cleaned and he was just complaining. It appeared that two people were living in the stairwell and there was a car on blocks in the parking lot with a sign telling people to stay away. Had we not been in town for the Big South Basketball Tournament and already paid the bill we would have immediately left. DISGUSTING
