Awful Incompetent Customer Service
I came in from Atlanta on a delivery Thurday 01/09/2025 and booked my stay after 2am (1 day and 3 hour trip!). Unaware of the cut off time the hostess told me my stay was good for after 2pm. I advised her I just needed a shower and a couple hours of rest. She told because I booked through a 3rd party there was nothing she could, except rebook me at a higher rate despite having a room that was already paid for (Hotel was NOT full). She offered to cancel my room, that way I can call Hotels.com about my situation.
I left extremely irritated at the lack of empathy and problem solving skills NOT being displayed. I had no choice but to sleep in the van with below freezing weather. I realized she had not given me the proof of cancellation, so I returned to retrieve it. A different young lady was there with a front tooth missing ( I did not get her name) and gave me the letter. Upon reading it, it stated that I cancelled my reservation. I explained to her I did not cancel. I was denied my room unless I pay for one again through her at a Higher rate! She became angry stating she had no way of correcting the letter being the company is new and she had no way of finding a templet with the hotels letterhead. Told me it would be a wait and I explained I had time. 15 minutes she brings me the letter and I noticed no one else in there resembled me. Terrible terrible service. Did not care at all and all I wanted was a shower and few hours of rest before I returned to Atlanta! Piss poor serv
