Cleanliness needs work
Cleanliness was a definite issue for us. I was horrified when I went into the shower the first morning to find handfuls of long black hair stuck to the side and back walls of the shower. It was obviously left there by the previous occupant which made me question if the tub and shower were even cleaned. After reporting the issue the front desk staff did have housecleaning clean the entire bathroom, but it still left an unpleasant ick feeling about the overall cleanliness of the hotel.
The water pressure in the shower was poor and the showerhead needed a good clean as a small stream of water was shooting out the side into the bathroom if you didn't have the shower curtain closed tightly against the wall. The water temperature gauge in the shower was so sensitive that turning the gauge a fraction in either direction resulted in a drastic change in temperature. Your choices were cold, moderately warm or scalding hot.
The rest of the room seemed clean.
The hotel itself is centrally located across the street from the shopping mall and close to lots of restaurants. Just a short drive away from the waterfront with ample parking. The front desk staff were polite and check-in and check-out were quick and easy.
Hopefully the shower hair issue was a one-off, but because of that I would not be staying there again.
