Wish I had kepted my hard earned money
First I called for early check in though I was granted the check and told I was upgrading to king bed. I was far not happy with the room or how I had to get there with a ton of luggage in tow on a cart.
1. Not one of the 5 workers standing there when I checked in helped me to my room with luggage knowing I had a medical service animal as well.
2. Due to construction I and service animal had to go all the way around hotel to get to other elevator to get cart with luggage and selfs to 2nd floor
3. I had a very hard time getting the cart on and off elevator.
4. When I got to room 244 on 2nd floor the smell of cat urine was over whelming. To the point I had to buy a 20$ candle to keep burning the entire 2 nights I stayed.
5. The bathroom was not stocked with toilet paper, towels, floor bathmat or box tissue. I had to ask for all of above.
6. Due to construction hot tub and pool were not open.
7. Went to use microwave and it was not cleaned out and under refrigerator was sour milk stuck to shelf underneath and inside bottom.
Had to spend 13$ more on dinner not including using my own cleaning supplies so I could have sanitized area to heat and store food. When I was told I upgraded I did expect the room to be 2x smaller with only a shower and no bath tub as the one I originally paid for. I'm out 300$ in my opinion. I tipped the employee for the upgrade help to be very very very disappointed and put in a terribly smelly and unsanitary room with the view of a roof.
