The woman that checked us in was super unfriendly. They took my credit card for incidentals-seriously? There wasn’t anything in the room or in the refrigerator. Room needed a good cleaning. Hotel is run down!

They need to invest money into the property to power wash the building. They need to update the rooms and bring it into the 2025. Even if they have to raise the prices. The bathroom looked old, there was rust on the light fixtures. The decor was not appealing.

They had no power for over 3 hours, no power plant and no emergency lights. Stairs were completely dark and we had to use our phones light to go up the stairs. Checking took 55 minutes to get key card access. The hotel is old and I don’t think it meets the building codes.

Want my money back
Power went out as soon as we checked in. When it came back on room keys didn’t work had to go back and get them fixed before we could get into our room. Elevators quit working even though lights came on but still no power in the room. Just a little rain and it was a mess. Girl at the desk acted annoyed answering questions. We couldn’t shower or even watch tv.

Mediocre hotel, should be a last resort.
A good place to get mugged. Entire hotel is old and outdated. 2nd floor seems more like a prison than a hotel and most of the cooridor lights were out. Bar and restaurant are permanently closed and no way to know before you book. All the staff seems annoyed. Thin walls, and street noise makes it hard to sleep. Water was warm and bed was soft. That's about it.

Terrible we booked several days. On second night, we returned to a bed stripped with no sheets. Our food and water was gone. Manager said that would not happen there. Basically said we were lying. He told us he would call us back and he never did.

It’s an old hotel, weird set-up. Front desk people were ok, asked for a cork screw they all said no. The manger then opened a draw and handed it to me. The maintenance man was awesome, fixed bad blow dryer situation quickly. The restaurant is closed indefinitely.

Nothing Special
Our stay at the Ramada served its purpose for a quick overnight stay between our flight coming in that evening and our cruise leaving the next morning. It was bare minimum, just a place to sleep and shower. The bed had four small square pillows instead of regular ones which was odd. They were quite lumpy and hard. The set up is like a courtyard with your room door leading to outside which we didn’t realize. It was quite loud all night. The staff was friendly. We didn’t feel it particularly cleanly enough to sit on the couch chair or walk in our bare feet. The bathroom was spacious, but again, not super clean. It served its purpose, but we would not stay again.

Not staying here again
Upon arrival, we were early n told rooms not ready. Which we expected. But then while we waited for a room, they proceeded to check in a couple people. Front desk lady was rude, room was not clean, floors were gross. My brand new socks were black on bottom within a couple hours of being in room. Breakfast was awful, the hot sandwiches ran out about half way through n they did not restock. We won’t stay here again. We’ve never had this experience at a hotel before.

From Ramada to RaNADA!!!
When selecting a place to stay in Tampa, I looked for a hotel with a restaurant and maybe a bar, as I would not have transportation! The app said yes to both, they are and have been closed for quite some time! Next when I tried to call the front desk our room phone didn’t work, then the ONLY chair in the room was broke and just about dumped me on the floor, lastly the bathroom is not ADA compliant with low toilet and no assist bars for tub or toilet, room was ok but has water stains and mold on wall above mop board! Time for Ramada to upgrade or drastically reduce price!

I would not stay here again. We were only here 2 nights or would have changed hotels. I wouldn’t not have stayed here with my children. Front desk staff were very friendly, but rooms are dirty and dingy. Our second day, the room card stopped working and we had to have one remade. The shuttle did not arrive at the airport as stated “every hour on the hour” so we had to Uber. The front desk staff said we needed to call ahead, but I never saw a shuttle come or go the 2 days we were there.
