Becoming VERY DISAPPOINTED with Hilton hotels.
When we got to our room (balcony room on the top floor) the room was freezing, we turned up the thermostat but it only blew out cold air. After waiting 1/2 hr. I called the front desk & informed them of the situation. The front desk clerk assured me she would have maintenance right up to fix it. Maintenance never showed up, so 45 min later I called & requested a different room. We switched to the new room, SAME PROBLEM. Called the front desk & told her the heat wasn't working in that room either. She said she'd have an engineer up this time. About 15 min later maintenance showed up & completely disconnected the thermostat & told us the heat was out for the whole hotel because the blower in the basement went out THE DAY BEFORE! By this time it was already well passed dinner & I was too tired to switch hotels so we stayed. The outside temp only got down to the high 40's so the room wasn't too uncomfortable. They should have informed us there was no heat above the 2nd floor when we checked in. If they had've we could have gotten a refund & booked a different hotel. So far it's been one issue after the other with Hilton hotels.
