A mixed bag but, ultimately, I would not stay here again.
First, there is no hot water, only warm water; not even hot enough to shave with. The food at the buffet for breakfast and dinner is really subpar, as is the food at the bar. Worst of all was the competence of the front desk staff.
Originally booked for only one day, a flight cancelation forced me to stay an extra two nights. After the first night, I had worked in my room all day. It n the late afternoon, I am completely undressed and about to step into the shower when there’s a knock on my door. Speaking through the door, some guy is telling me I have thirty minutes to get out of the room! Now, when I checked in, I clearly stated several times that I needed to book two more nights. “No problem. No problem.” I even asked again before I headed to my room that I had the room through Monday. “Not a problem.” Apparently, there was a problem.
Trying to get it cleared up was no easier. When I told the desk clerk I had asked for two more nights, his response was, “People always ask for extra nights but he (the prior night’s clerk) doesn’t know if they really need the room.” Delays and such. I say, “I don’t know what to say to be any clearer. What is more clear than “I need to book the room for two additional nights?” Finally get it taken care of and I ask for a printed receipt showing the nights. He’d only booked one more night. Ugh.
The good is that the shuttle runs 24h and the place is convenient to the airport.
