Couldn't get the King Room with Intercoastal and Ocean view that I reserved, in March, because of hotel renovations being done. The noise from it was loud and annoying. I had no car and the restaurant was closed for remodeling. A very limited lunch/dinner menu was offered by a cook, in the bar area. About 5 items were on it, nothing of which was appealing. I was not about to pay to have food delivered. This is advertised as a high-end resort and said they had shuttle to their beach, they don't. This was supposed to be an R&R vacation, after having gone through Chemo for cancer last year. I saved up money and I was near tears over this whole disappointing stay. I am a 76 year old widow and I asked the hotel for some kind of discount off my bill. I do not want a free stay or room offer. I'll see what happens.
