Excellent for NYC trip
First time stay for NYC trip with family recommended by a Weehawken local. Excellent location directly across from ferry terminal, nearby bus stops, and train rail. Takes the stress out of getting around without your car. Parking garage is self-park for a very reasonable daily rate.
Online room details described having a view at a higher rate. I assumed it was the NYC skyline so I booked it instead of the courtyard view. Turns out our “view” from the 10th floor was of the town cliffs. I inquired with the front desk after getting to our rooms and was told only rooms with the single king beds have the NYC view. Rooms with 2 queen beds have courtyard or cliffs view. Unless I missed this when booking online, they should be very clear about this detail!
We did not use the restaurant or bar during our 2night stay. However, while sitting in the lounge area taking in the NYC view across the river, I noticed an unpleasant odor similar to that of an old dirty bar or restaurant. This was surprising given everything else was very pleasant. My daughter described the hotel as bougie. Would definitely consider another stay.
