Front of house upon arrival and throughout the duration of our stay was incredibly abrupt, condescending and rude to both me and my family as well as to every other guest with which he interacted. Not only was communication skills poor but his knowledge of what was advertised and what was actually available, was not correct. For example, restaurant was closed although online said was open, packed lunches were unavailable but still offered, and when we asked questions regarding the procedure to order and availability of food services out with the breakfast menu, we were met with hostility.
The rest of our stay was acceptable and the breakfast offerings were really good, but the man who worked front of house during our stay (2nd January to 4th January) needs a course in customer service and manners.
The restaurant staff were exceptional, knowledgeable and obliging, as was the woman on reception at check out.
