There were a number of issues at this motel which caused us to have a stressful experience, and as a result I would not recommend it.
The self-serve check in kiosk also does not work effectively. After confirming our arrival and getting our key cards, we were not told which room we were in, and had to call for help. At that point, you might as well have an in-person reception!
Additionally, our room had not been cleaned. We needed to sleep pretty much straight away, but the bedsheets were covered in hairs. The pillows stank of somebody else's cologne. The receptionist who we spoke to was apologetic enough, but clearly embarrassed, and moved us to the next (thankfully clean) room. It was hard to wind down after this, particularly with the noise bleed from other rooms.
The checkout experience was just as confusing. We had to leave in the middle of the night, but the kiosk was unable to locate our reservation, so I ended up dropping the key cards in the box and hoping for the best. We received an email with a link to confirm our departure later that day - if we knew this, we would have been much less worried about getting our deposit back.
Overall I'm very disappointed in the quality of experience for the money. This establishment clearly needs better management, and I'm upset that I spent all those points. The whole point of this booking was to treat us to a relaxing sleep in the middle of our journey, and it turned out to be a very expensive nap.
