Upon arriving, I was so excited! That feeling turned into disappointment pretty quickly. I paid for an ocean view room. That’s not what I received. The construction of new rooms was blocking the majority of the ocean view. Also, the construction noise was not what I wanted to hear (which occurred during my entire vacation). My concerns and request for a different room were poorly addressed by Divi All Inclusive’s hotel manager (on duty at the time of my arrival). She was extremely impolite, unprofessional, and dismissive. She would not authorize a room change. There were a number of other issues: hair in the bathroom, a roach in the sink, no room service, no swim up bar in the pools, and no waiters or waitresses present to take orders for food or drinks while poolside.
