We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready, which is of course fully understandable. But when we came back after check-in start time, we still had to wait a while for the room, which shouldn’t have been necessary. Parking is crazy expensive, but that seems to be the case in all Vancouver, so not a reflection of this place per se. The sofa bed in the room was not at all suitable for anyone to sleep in - it was literally not a mattress but a steel wire construction with a blanket and sheet on top. Instead, our 7-year-old slept on the couch seat pillows on the floor between the two regular beds. The carpet in the room is in desperate need of changing or deep cleaning, which rubbed off negatively on the overall impression of the condition of the room. Breakfast is in the next door restaurant and very plain (no fruits, cheese, vegetables as part of the buffet).
