Our experience
The front desk people are not informed about their hotel and overall, not helpful in any way. Couldn’t tell us where the light switch was, brought up shampoo when we asked for lotion, missing hairdryer that finally came up 30 min later, etc. need to be trained.
Had a box delivered days before arrived with confirmation of delivery and confirmation of who signed and where it was delivered. This was a needed delivery for my business trip. 3 different people, managers included could not locate the box. We even left our contact info for them to email me if it was found. When we checked out, it was magically waiting behind the desk but by this time, it was useless to us as my meetings had ended. Only Toya was helpful, noticed the box and was willing to go out of her way to accommodate us.
They charge $20/day that must be spent or charged otherwise. Their restaurant was only open for breakfast and lunch but not dinner. The bar was available but freezing cold. They charged $5 for a self serve coffee machine but never had any cream. I usually don’t write reviews and especially not negative ones but when paying this type of money to stay at a curio hotel, you’d expect a lot more professionalism and customer service.
