There are better options than Hilton in TO.
Room was clean but not in great shape. Door was falling apart, no shampoo or conditioner (bottles were empty). Front desk was not very helpful and not overly friendly when we asked for help with a couple of things . Room service was not available when we wanted it (late afternoon). Decided to try breakfast at the hotel the next morning. Surprised by a 50.00 breakfast buffet charge- we looked at the buffet and it was not impressive. Nothing made to order like omelettes or anything. Just serve yourself basic scrambled eggs etc. We decided to order from the menu instead of buffet. Service was incredibly slow. Kids ordered waffles . When they finally came they were cold and served with no syrup. Had to wait for syrup to be brought out and by then the waffles were hard and extremely cold. They charged for coffee refills . We were charged for a fruit bowl that never came- and when we asked for it to be taken off the bill, the waiter argued that we did get it. He then resorted to counting the plates on the table to make sure we weren’t lying . They ended up taking the charge off the bill. But in the end , we paid 160.00 for breakfast - 2 teas, 1 coffee, 4 waffles, granola and fruit and eggs Benny. This on top of the service we received, we won’t be staying here again. Many better options in downtown Toronto.
