We loved our stay with Linda. The property is an old house that she keeps nicely and comfortably. We had an initial problem with hot water but Linda had it fixed the following day. The breakfast was amazing and the area around relaxing. You do need a car to go places and they close early.

Beautiful old property in lovely quiet setting.
The hosts are lively people and make you feel very welcome.
If you’re in one the two rooms upstairs you share a bathroom but we didn’t find any issues.
The only issues we had was a very creaky bed which creaked loudly every time you moved and you need to travel for about 20 mins to get dinner in the evening.

Such a beautiful home. Hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. Linda made a fabulous breakfast, which unfortunately had to rush, as we had made a reservation for a cog train, and hadn't planned the timing correctly. They gave us a go-bag to take anything we wanted. The gardens were stunnind.

This is our first time staying at a b&b. The owner Linda is super nice and helpful. We love her house and her land, really beautiful. We enjoyed her breakfast tremendously. I can tell she got up early, made coffee, baked strawberries muffins and blueberry muffin which were delicious! Every utensil, water goblets, coffee mugs, plates, egg holder, yogurt glass, napkins… were placed just beautifully on the table…

Such a special and quiet spot. We were looking for a place to stay for a few nights for an event in Augusta (25 min away) and found this gem. Linda and Rick were welcoming and kind hosts, and breakfast included the best homemade muffins and cider. We met a few fellow travellers and it was a really pleasant and unique experience that we’ll remember. We did wish there were more dining options nearby but the plus side is a very quiet location where you can read on the porch and hope to get a visit from Daisy cat. Thank you for having us!

Charming Place
We were very pleased with our stay at the Clary Lake Bed and Breakfast. Linda greeted us when we arrived and showed us to our comfortable room. We had everything we needed for the night. There were fresh flowers in the room (presumably from the garden outside). There were chocolate kisses and coffee and tea in the room. The breakfast was a mix of fresh fruit, a hard boiled egg, a cup of tasty yogurt that was made locally, and fresh baked muffins. There were other items available as well. It was much better than typical hotel breakfast food for sure. I travel a lot for work, so I know! I would recommend staying here if you're in the area!

The B&B was quiet and casual, with gardens and open space, and we woke up to birds singing. The hosts were friendly and gave guests plenty of room to do their own thing, and they had their own living areas. The 1850s-something farmhouse was genuine and not fussy or overly decorated. Many nice places to eat were available 20 minutes away down pleasant rural roads. Local healthy delis with local fare weren't open the day we were there. Breakfast was not fussy and delicious, with many options, and in a pleasant setting on an enclosed porch surrounded by trees and shrubs and flowers, and more birds!
