We stayed in a corner room with an amazing harbor view, and the bathroom had many well-designed details. Before our trip, the hotel thoughtfully informed us about the bed sizes and also let us know that the extra beds were fully booked. They were concerned that it might be uncomfortable for us to sleep since we were two adults and two children.
However, during check-in on the day of arrival, we reached the hotel at 2:30 PM and were told that the room would be ready around 3:00 PM. We went out to buy something and came back at 3:20 PM, only to be told that housekeeping had not finished and we would need to wait another 20 minutes. They gave us four drink vouchers while we waited. After the 20 minutes passed, they told us it would take another 5 minutes. The staff were very polite and kept apologizing.
Still, the hotel may need to consider assigning more housekeeping staff. Check-in is officially at 3:00 PM, yet we had to wait more than 40 minutes beyond that, which is not what you would expect from a five-star hotel. Also, after waiting so long, we were given a room on a very low floor, which was a bit disappointing.
