Alice and the staff at the hotel were super accommodating and assisted us in every aspect of our stay. The rooms were quaint with modern amenities and the courtyard transports you back in time. It is such a unique property and the team makes you feel like family. I traveled alone with 3 young daughters and they made the trip super memorable for us.

This Courtyard hotel is a great place to stay and family friendly. The location is very convenient. The workers are extremely nice. For example, After a hot afternoon, we came back to the hotel and they served us cold drinks and delicious dessert and fruits. We are grateful that we found this place to stay.

Peaceful hotel in the hutongs
Loved my stay there. Neighborhood is quiet, the hotel is very calm and the room confortable. Could not try to breakfast had to leave too early

Nice little gem in the center of the city. The hotel is right next to the famous market street but really quite inside the hotel. Front desk is extremely polite and helpful. Rooms are a bit small but considering the location of the hotel it’s understandable. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable.

From arrival to departure, the staff were so welcoming and hospitable. The hotel is a delight and the photos accurately depict it. A very popular place. Would recommend if you want to be right in the heart of Beijing. So much to see and explore here.
Felicity, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Excellent location right off the popular shopping street of Nan luo gu xiang. It is a short walk from the subway. (Where it is possible to the airport with two easy transfers). Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and afternoon tea on premises. All makes up for the small inconvenient of an older facility. We picked this place for its traditional setting afterall. Air-conditioned rooms with washer is very convenient.
Changying, 7-night trip

8/10 Very good

The hotel itself is stunning, offering a nostalgic atmosphere that makes you feel like you're stepping back in time. The breakfast is excellent, featuring a mix of Western and Chinese options, along with complimentary tea time, and there's also a restaurant/bar. While the room we stayed in could use some updates, the friendly and helpful staff, along with the available amenities, more than make up for it. That said, the internet can be inconsistent, both within the hotel and in the surrounding area. The location is fantastic, just steps away from a main pedestrian street with plenty of shops and restaurants. Taxis can be challenging due to the narrow streets that aren't designed for modern transportation, but you are within a short walking distance to a main street and metro stop. I would definitely recommend this hotel, but it’s better suited for a short stay, like a two-night getaway, rather than an extended visit.

Quaint little hutong hotel
Quaint little Hutong hotel right in the heart of the tourist-trap hutong so it was really convenient, tho not sure where the metro station is. Check in was quick and easy and really appreciate that I got the room before the 2pm checkin time. Was delighted with the afternoon tea snacks. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Cleanliness-wise - room was pretty clean except, the room floor was a little dusty. Room has USB and USB-C points by the bed. Will definitely stay here again if I visit Beijing

Our stay at the boutique hotel in Beijing's Shajing Hutong was exceptional. The seamless check-in kicked off a stay characterized by exceptionally friendly staff and a cozy, family-like atmosphere. Despite its modest size, the rooms were clean and featured a cute balcony, though the unique bathroom curtain was a quirky addition. Nestled close to a lively pedestrian street bustling with street food, bars, and near several metro stations, the location couldn’t be better for exploring the city. The Chinese-style breakfast with its warm and cold options, accompanied by fresh fruit, was a daily delight. The afternoon tea with its array of snacks further showcased the hotel’s dedication to guest comfort. The shared terrace was a prime spot for breakfast or an evening beverage, fostering a communal vibe among guests. Staff consistently went above and beyond by providing insightful Beijing travel tips. In sum, this hotel offers a perfect mix of peaceful retreat and local culture immersion. I unreservedly give it 5 stars and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Beijing.
