This property has a lot of potential since it’s right in the heart of Dewey, faces the bay on an attractive cove, and is a short walk to the beach. Unfortunately it is poorly run and not kept up. We were among several customers whose check in was significantly delayed because the rooms were not clean. No one at the front desk seemed to care, shrugging it off like it was par for the course.
Worse, than the delay was the broken down, rattling AC system. It made such a horrible racket that we had to turn it off in order to sleep. This of course meant foregoing AC on a hot night. Consequently no one got much sleep. When I reported the problem to the front desk, the response was “yeah, those need to be replaced”.
It astounds me that we spent over $350 a night for this place. I do not recommend it.
