This B&B was disappointing. We had a room in the basement that smelled musty when we entered. The dehumidifier was needed. The AC unit was vintage, sounding a little like a Mac truck idling outside your window. It was awkward having the shower/tub in the same room as the beds. It's one thing to have a sink in the room, but no privacy getting into the shower is, well, not right. Certainly not what you'd expect at this price range, $170 per night. That's too much for what is essentially a motel room. The sink stopper didn't work, and we were told not to use the door to the outside deck because the handle would fall off. Again, charge us motel rates and it's fine. At 170 per night it's unacceptable.
On the plus side, the breakfast was very good, the French toast croissants were delicious. You can walk down to the river and fish off the dock, where there are lots of bass around.
