Not sure why this place has a resort fee. But maybe because the rooftop was closed out of season while I was there (opens Memorial Day?) The gym is big and well outfitted, but no pool or sauna or even showers outside the main room. There is a restaurant/bar on-site that is nice, but being a guest doesn’t seem to have any benefit. Good location, nice building.
Some of the staff were helpful, others seemed overworked or generally put out.
We had a major issue with no hot water for several hours which went uncompensated even though I explained I had to take a cold shower to get ready for my event. No attempt to get me to a space with a hot shower available.
The nighttime door was locked and keys wouldn’t get us in, so another guest had to let a group of us in, no staff in sight. Made me nervous to go out later, so I stayed in.
Pretty room, nice art, overall could be a luxury stay if the staff could keep up with the issues guests experienced.
