思い掛けず、昆明の街の真ん中に位置しており、観光や食事に非常に便利だった。特に、近くに雲南料理の名店が有って、何度も行けて良い思い出となった。

เดินทางสะดวกอยู่ใจกลางเมือง ใกล้แหล่งช็อปปิ้ง ห้องพักสะอาด เงียบสงบ แต่วันแรกไม่เปิดเครื่องปรับอากาศนอนคืนแรกอบอ้าวต้องนอนเปิดหน้าต่าง แต่คืนที่สองเปิดให้ ระวังเรื่องไฟฟ้าสถิตย์

Location, location and location

Location wise, it is 5 stars. It is close to everything. Plenty of food choices around, bank, movie theatre, hospital, shopping malls and massages. The overall cleanliness of this hotel is actually quite acceptable on international standard. The room itself and the bed and beddings are good but the bathroom really really needed upgrade. I can see that the housekeeping staff did clean the bathtub walls but the mildew stains are such eyesore. It is more like dated interior than cleanliness issue in the bathroom. Another thing that I found out about this hotel is, the central air-con will only be turned on when the temperature hit a certain degree. When I checked in my room, I founded the room a little hot then I asked the bellboy who is bringing in my luggage to turn on the air-con but he told me the air-con doesn’t work at this moment because the management felt it was not hot enough outside to turn on the central system. So for those who are from the north and from colder countries , prepare for hot temperature when you sleep. Front desk staff English is ok but the rest of the hotel staff are basically mandarin speaking. I happened to speak English, mandarin, Cantonese and French so I didn’t really have any problem staying here. Our room comes with buffet breakfas, breakfast food are mainly Chinese , a bit of toast and pastries plus water down coffee but for what I am paying for room rate, I think it is still not bad. Or else Starbucks is around the corner.

좋은 위치에 있는 편리한 호텔

호텔 위치는 최고로 좋음. 도심 한복판에 있어, 쇼핑, 교통, 관광 모두에 적합함. 아침 부페는 그런대로 괜찮으나, 매일 거의 같은 음식이 나옴. 청소나 서비스는 좋은 편임. 우리는 쿤밍에 가면 항상 이 호텔에 투숙할 정도로 만족하고 있음.

Friendly and attentive staff especially manager 周青

Ms Zhou is very informative and helpful. The housekeeping team is spontaneous and attentive. They gave my daughters extra sweets and even a pair of child slippers.There fresh fruits everyday in the room. Well done New Era!

Great location although sometimes difficult for taxis, etc as streets nearby often jammed. 15 minute walk to Green Lake Park, lots of places to eat nearby. Comfy beds but room gets hot in spring/summer as A/C not turned on unless +26. We found this uncomfortable but warm rooms are typical of Asian hotels. Overall, a good place to stay.

This hotel is easy to get to from the airport by public transit. It is within walking distance of Green Lake Park. The location is amazing- puts you close to the metro, restaurants and shopping. Would definitely recommend for international travellers. Staff had excellent English.

도심에 위치한 아느간 호텔

아침 식사에 변화가 있으면 좋겠다. 욕실 전등이 고장 나 있었으며, 세면기의 물이 잘 빠지지 않았다. 난방이 좋지 않았다. 비행기에서 밤을 새우고 일찍 호텔에 도착하였는데, 비교적 일찍 체크인을 하여 주어 고마원ㅆ다.

สถานที่ดีมาก, การบริการ พนักงานมีน้ำใจ ช่วยเหลือดี ห้องพัก shower น้ำไหลน้อย รูระบายน้ำในอ่างอาบน้ำช้า แต่น้ำที่ก็อกอ่างล้างหน้าแรงดีครับ ขอบคุณครับ

便利又舒適的飯店

飯店舒適、安靜，寬廣的徒步區購物、小吃都便利，屬「清真區」喜歡吃牛羊雞鴨的朋友能放鬆心情海嗑幾頓。建議高樓層、無吸菸樓層較優。

Thoroughly Enjoyable Stay

One of the better hotels I've come across in my trip to China. The staff here spoke enough English so that my non-Chinese speaking companion could communicate with them; the breakfasts were great (both Chinese and Western); and the reception staff were very helpful in setting up and recommending activities in Kunming and beyond.

Very well run

New Era is a relatively new hotel located in the center of a pedestrian shopping mall in Kunming. It's a good location for business travelers and shopaholics, as every driver in the city seems to know it, it's easy to find, and there are a ton of shops and a giant IMAX theater nearby. The hotel is well managed. My friend, who had some Chinese cold medicine in the bathroom, actually got a nice note from management asking if she was okay and needed to see a doctor. Huge breakfast buffet that goes on forever. Well heated in winter. Gym is fine though it has a big interior window next to the group dining hall, which meant that if you do a morning workout you're doing a show for all the staring tourists who haven't seen a laowai (foreigner) before.

The number one place to stay while in Kunming

Hotel New Era at Kunming was excellent, the room was clean, not a bit of cigarette smell (we stay at 26 floor). The hotel separated individual tourists with group travellers in terms of breakfast area. Individual travellers had their breakfast at the 28th floor; breakfast was good, and the view terrific. During our check out, we could not get a taxe (it was 7:30 am, accordingly, the taxi drivers were having shifts then), the doorman ran all the way to the main street to stop taxis for us. The hotel itself was situated in the city center, lots of department stores, good restaurants and walking area. Other tourist site were nearby, with RMB 20 to 30 dollars drive, you can go around the city easily.
