Check-in was smooth and the room was clean. The hotel itself was fine. However, the front desk staff came across as unfriendly, and the attendant managing the "large vehicles only" parking garage was particularly unwelcoming.
Upon arrival, I attempted to park in the garage next to the lobby but was turned away and told it was reserved for trucks and other large vehicles—even though I drive a large SUV. The alternate garage had extremely tight spaces, and I witnessed several guests struggling to park, with one even hitting a pole.
The following day, I attempted to park in the original garage again and was once more told it was only for large vehicles—despite several compact cars already parked there. After pointing this out, the attendants reluctantly allowed me to park.
I understand having a parking policy, but it should be applied consistently. More importantly, staff interactions—especially when enforcing policies—should be courteous and respectful. A little friendliness goes a long way in hospitality.
