I definitely expected more from this hotel. Having stayed in other Small Luxury Hotels, this one was a disappointment.
The location was great and The View off the balcony was fantastic. My check-in was great, but the next day the front desk person didn't really understand or speak English. When I asked if he could speak any other languages he said only English. He was kind, respectful, and tried to be as helpful as possible, but it was very frustrating trying to communicate.
Finally, we left in a hurry and so I left behind an article of clothing. I called them up and told them what it was and where it was. There was no question in my mind whether or not I had left it and I told them exactly where I had left it. Nonetheless, despite multiple phone calls, I was told that I had left nothing behind and tough luck because housekeeping must be telling the truth. Shameful for such a hotel.
