The initial check-in experience wasn't good. The room was smelly and upon check-in there is power outage across 1F & 2F. When I requested a room change, I was told that there are only 1 room available to switch which "might also have the same smelly issue". I was quite disappointed and they suggested I can pay for an upgrade to another room, which I did, and that room was then clean and without the smells.
I've no problem to pay for upgrades. But my problem is that hotel guests shouldn't pay extra to get themselves a clean and de-odored room. That shouldn't be too much to ask even for a regular hotel, let alone a resort that bears the Legoland's name.
No complaints after the upgrade though.
