Mi experiencia ha sido nefasta. No me fui del hotel nada más llegar porque eran las 12 de la noche. Patético. Estuve dos noches y ni siquiera me hicieron la cama. Hice el check out y me hicieron subir a por las sábanas y la toalla. Las fotos engañan ... Etc.

Relaxed hostel with hippie-feeling

Spent 2 nights there during a competition in Barcelona. Not the best place for relaxation, since people are sitting in the garden playing music/talking/shouting through the night. The door bell for the hostel was also quite high, so everytime someone rang the door, we woke up. The room we had was the smallest I have ever seen, but then again, this is a hostel and not an hotel. You share a kitchen and 2 bathrooms with the entire hostel, so no water/shower/toilet in your room. Anyways; nice staff and free internet.

Hyggelig og uhøytidelig. Rent og godt organisert av unge, engelskspråklige vertskap og gjester. Litt langt til metro, men rundt Horta er der supre tapasbarer. Jeg trivdes godt å enerom!

This hostel was located very close to the L3 Barcelona Metro line, which made commuting into the city very convenient. It’s a bit far out, but Garden Hostel is a lovely property, and with many guests making the property a comfortable mid-term stay, the distance from Barcelona Center was not a problem. Staff was incredibly attentive, secure. Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of music and a variety of people. Kitchen available and in-use often, very clean (smells so good!). My only complaint would have been bar close noise level, but that is not a result of the property itself. From our double bunk room, it was incredibly quiet—located by the showers (a big plus!). I found the showering facilities to be consistently available and regularly cleaned. This made for a lovely and friendly stay.

Hyggeligt og Fint til prisen

Dem som arbejder på hostellet er virkelig søde. Det er et rart kvarter, hvis man gerne vil have lidt mere ro og føle sig lidt mere lokal. Hostellet er fint til prisen, men der er ret lydt. Jeg forestiller mig at tagterrassen og haven er et hit om sommeren. Køkkenet er fuldt udstyret, men lidt småt hvis flere skal være der på en gang.

Mi habitación estaba algo sucia...

Ya sé que por el precio no se puede exigir mucho. Pero yo reservé habitación con baño para una sola noche y al llegar allí la habitación no tenia baño. Como llegue tan cansada y tan tarde no dije nada... pero la habitación tenia la papelera llena de basura y el suelo sucio, con restos de basura que se habían salido de la papelera (llegue muy tarde, tiempo para limpiar tuvieron).... No dije nada porque al menos las sábanas estaban limpias. Los baños comunes estaban muy limpios, eso si.

The Garden House Hostel location, so deeply tucked away from central Barcelona, is a productive eye opener and for me offered the opportunity for four long varied walks in all directions in northern Barcelona.

Genuinely friendly, wonderful place.

While the hostel itself is beautiful (and aptly named; it's even prettier than the pictures), the knowledgable and genuinely lovely staff were the highlight. The hostel has a warm environment so many claim or try for. The amenities were always clean and in great condition during my (twice extended) eleven day stay, and the washing service offered was particularly handy and easy - and cheaper than a laundromat. The location is five minutes walk from one train line and ten from another, making it excellent for exploring the city from the quiet and picturesque area in which the hostel is located. I'll never stay anywhere else in Barcelona again!

Great Expedience

Wonderful hostel... lovely atmospere... excellent staff. Upon arriving I was given a map with nearby metro stops, points of interest, and "good to knows" laid out after a few quick questions about my plans while in Barca. It was so easy to get to everything via metro, and hostel is in the midst of a quiet residential area (Horta). Felipe made everyone pizza on Sunday to bring everyone together... now that I'm in a hotel in the next city... I miss the atmosphere of Feetup!

Ma seule motivation était un hôtel pas cher ; or, je me suis retrouvé en auberge de jeunesse, dans une chambre ...de 6 mètres carrés! sans même un lavabo. Lorsque je posais ma valise sur le sol, je ne pouvais plus circuler dans la chambre! Une seule douche ainsi qu'un lavabo étaient à notre disposition.
