good value for money but needs to improve basic amenities and services
The resort is located a little far away feom hoi an compared to other hotels yet it adds only a couple of minutes and dongs more so no problem. The facility is quite new, the rooms are spacious, the pools are ok and the staff is quite good except for the fact that language is still a barrier. However, fully lower your expectation ( down to zero) if you dream of beachcombing and swim in a blue ocean. First of all the beach is very narrow and there were a couple of trucks and bulldozers shovelling piles of sand in the beach for the two days we stayed in the hotel. So it was not a pleasent view especially due to the noise throughout the day. I would expect a prewarning and a compensation from the hotel management in this case. Anyway I am sure that visitors in future will not have this issue yet still do not expect a blue caribbean like sea it is just ocean.
Last but not the least we faced with a heavy scent in our room and lived with that in our first night since we had a very late check in; when the reception was informed in the morning they acted quite fast and sorted out the problem.
All in all good value for money yet still do not have the standards it should provide as a luxury beach resort...
