We had a great stay here, from the moment we were greeted at the door, the lovely room, the perfect bar/restaurant. All superb. Couldn't fault it at all. Very close to all you need in Cambridge tbh.

Hotel with character, used to be the old police station, however the room's are outstanding, touch pad light and AC controls. Newly refurbished bedrooms with small kitchette, large king-size bed with top quality pillows and duvets.intersting hotel bar with nice surroundings highly recommend staying here, 15 mins walk from station, Location is right near everything in the city centre

Very good location near to the centre of town and not too far away from the station which is rather out of town. Beautiful old building and comfortable albeit compact room. Very nice staff and we loved everything apart from the breakfast - self-service and rather poor quality cold food items with little choice. It was a surprise as it didn’t chime with the rest of the hotel which lent itself towards a more upscale service so hopefully this is constructive feedback.

The hotel was in a great location but parking at the local multi-storey was very expensive. The breakfast was lovely but our evening meal was very disappointing as there wasn’t much left on the menu. What we did have was very bland. The staff were very friendly and our room was lovely but did overlook people in the restaurant which was a bit invasive.

We had a great stay at the Hobson, the rooms were immaculate, the staff were super friendly and the bed was sooo comfy. It’s also in a great location, just a short walk from the city centre. Would definitely recommend staying here!☺️

Fantastic location, an excellent example of upgrading a historic property, and a spacious room with a kitchenette. Managing the lights going on and off was tricky at first, but we got it sorted.

Clean and modern rooms. The location is only 18 min walking distance to the train station and close to all local attractions. We enjoyed our one night stay.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral im Herzen von Cambridge und in der Nähe vieler Restaurants und Bars. Hervorzuheben ist dabei die historische Bedeutung und die Architektur des Gebäudes (altes Polizeirevier). Die Zimmer waren sehr modern und funktional eingerichtet. Auch das Design des Hotels inklusive der Speisesaal sind wirklich gelungen. Jedoch sehr klein- gerade für zwei große Gepäckstücke. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Boutique style, but whilst some very modern touches, some basics let it down. Breakfast changed to continental without notice or price reduction (£21).To be fair, we were credited for the one day we tried it. TV was not ‘smart’, basic channels only Kettle lid was broken. Toilet permanently flushing, until we raised it at which point it was mended. Room only serviced every third day, but insufficient tea, coffee and milk for 3 days without asking Bath towel had large hole. Replacement was available, but shouldn’t have been necessary. Available parking is 10 mins walk away and cost £55 for 3 nights

Lovely hotel and rooms, beautiful building and nicely located. Rooms were large and my room had a small kitchenette. There is a beautiful restaurant which was where they used to take he old trains, breakfast is also available here too. There is also a lovely staircase with stained glass. Jessica helped me upon arrival and was very friendly and helpful. Tamara the manager introduced herself and also checked the next morning how my stay was. Thank you
