Enjoyable stay in Cayucos
Beachwalker is an older property, but has been renovated. Our suite had a kitchen, which we requested. It was complete with a microwave, coffee maker, cooktop and 1/2 size refrigerator with freezer. It was stocked with dishes, silverware (though a little light on forks), pots, pans, dish soap and dish towels. The furniture was a little worn (table and chairs). There was only 1 coffee pod and no tea bags. We were not told that there would not be cleaning service during our stay, which would have been nice to know--so the tea/coffee were not restocked. The mattress was comfortable, but the pillows could use some help. I suggest bringing your own. We were a block or so away from the beach, which was an easy walk. Close to all the shops and restaurants, too. We were traveling with our daughter, and the manager was very gracious when I called to ask to have our rooms as close together as possible. Parking in the front of the property is a little tight for larger cars, but there is great parking in the back. Overall, this was a most enjoyable stay, and will definitely be on our list of places to stay again when in Cayucos.
