Location is great, right across from the Príncipe Pio station, so connections are convenient. Many food options, manageable walks to the Palace. Room was basic but clean, my man gripe is that the rooms were supposed to be cleaned every 2 days but in the 8 days that I stayed at the hotel, my room was only cleaned twice, and that’s after reminding the front desk.

Unfriendly reception staff but I could get over that. Hob and fridge which was good but not even a teaspoon let alone a pan or something to drink out of. The air conditioning sytem didn't work and the hot water in the shower didn't work for a whole day. The tv didn't always work and when the entry card didn't work they let us go all the way up to the room to come back down again. The bathroom door had the lock falling off. When I queried these things I was told that the maintenance team were not in and to come back tomorrow. The bed was uncomfortable and no extra pillows or blankets available. The only good thing for us was the location.
