CHECK REVIEWS ON ALL PLATFORMS. See photos for more info. “Premium Apartment”, stayed 5 nights. It’s not stated on advertisement that this is not a serviced apartment. Found out after booking and paying that it’s privately owned rental unit.
The check in process was abnormal - bunch of people all waiting outside the apartment lobby to check in, a lady gathers everyone like school camp before ushering us in the lift and dropping us at our apartment. It did not feel safe that other guests knew which room we were located in, let alone the lady never even introduced herself, provided name or business card etc and just invited herself into your room to take a bond. If you’re a solo traveller I do not recommend.
Other reviews from March 2026 on google and (which is now deleted and the business name has changed from City Stays to 88 Rentals) show the exact room I got and it doesn’t seem they’d taken that feedback or rectified anything listed in that review! e.g broken and dirty stove, broken window sill handles, nasty stain on couch etc. I couldn’t be bothered dealing with the stress of complaining and potentially moving rooms while I was on a holiday, especially after seeing the lack of care and argumentative responses from the operator in other peoples previous reviews.
The only thing good about this place is the location. The room lacks major attention to detail.
