The beach is incredible, one of the nicest in the Dominican Republic. The pools, rooms, food, drinks and coffee house were very good. Our butler also was a gem and answered all our questions, made dinning reservations and even walked us to different areas of the resort. My wife and i enjoyed our stay very much.

For an all inclusive resort the food was 9/10. Breakfast could have been better but dinner options were amazing. The Lamb Risotto was absolutely amazing!

Beautiful location with extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Many issues: lots of doors in the pool area don't close or lock properly, ordered room service that didn't arrive twice, housekeeping staff did not acknowledge the "no doorbell/do not disturb" lights (or use the doorbell at all). The buffet breakfast and lunch were good but the restaurants were hit or miss. The app did not correctly reflect which restaurants were open. The resort is definitely still getting its footing.

Not so crowded yet, so staffs recognize most of guest which was very convenient and made services are pleasant all the time during my stay.
Foods are good, drink selections are good. All staffs are very friendly and nice.

Release the Club Preference rooms on time and as reserved.
Don't delay the check-in process until after 5 pm. Don't provide one bed for two adults and one bed for one child, instead of the booked two double beds for three adults. After all, it is an adults only resort.

Unbelievable beach with NO seaweed and relatively calm waters. Sand was gorgeous and plentiful beach area. Tons of chairs and Cabanas. Pool area was sleek. Dinning was amazing with great options and fantastic food. Only thing that was a disappointment was the maid service. They didn't leave the room in a disaster or anything like that just that they would forget to fill out the mini bar little things like that so other than that really really good experience

We enjoyed the ocean. I’ve had room problems. Willing leaking from above bathroom and 3 of our 10 days stay were in bad conditions. Food not as expected. The only place you can eat as soon as you go was the buffet. At restaurant we had 2 hours waiting and received food already cold. Best place to eat was at restaurants at preferred club location for both Secrets and Dreams resorts.
Stuff has no experience but some of them are really trying hard. Really onest , the resorts ( secrets and dreams- at Playa Esmeralda) don’t deserve the price we’ve paid.
