The motel is a bit run down but the inside has been renovated. The room was spacious, the kitchen had everything needed. Overall, fmit was alright. We have stayed at a worse place at a higher price. Was the place clean? It's not a hotel hygiene level, but they tried to clean the room where visible. The main issue we had was one of the beds. The beds were placed on a metal frame, one of the frame squeaked at every turn and toss. We called out for help but were told they didn't have an extra room, so my daughter had sleep on that bed not to mention we barely got any sleep. I don't understand how they didn't notice the noise when they cleaned the bed or changed the bedding sheets. It was so loud.

The rooms are very clean with a beautifull view of the water! The walking trail & beach are right there, so location is wonderful. The room are very basic but have everything you need.

Do not stay here if you want to stay somewhere clean. At first glance the room was clean. But as we turned on the lights we discovered every soft surface in the room was stained. The blankets, pillows, sheets the couch and chair. There was mold in the shower. The kettle was broken. The vent for the stove vented to the cupboard above, not outside, definitely only for inspection purposes. We would not get a refund so we toughed it out for our stay but left very early on check out day. If you don't do your own dishes(wash and dry) and take out your own garbage/recycling, they will charge you a housekepping fee. It is such a shame as this location is so beautiful, there is so much potential but it is wasted on the current owners and their lack of upkeep and cleanliness. Lions Head is lovely but do not stay her if you don't want to feel grossed out your entire stay.

The location of Lions Beach Motel is hard to beat. It was close to everything we wanted to explore, and getting around was quick and easy. The room was clean, and Rohit was a super helpful host who was always available if we needed anything. My only suggestion would be to add air conditioning. We visited during 30°C+ weather, and the room got quite warm. we were sleepless through the night although we were provided with extra fans when asked for. Other than that, we had a great stay and would definitely come back.

The location was very good; bathroom supplies- poor; screens with holes so couldn’t keep the window or door open; hard to contact staff because connection quite poor and messages were never answered.

The location was central to where we were going to explore the area. The beach was foot steps away. Enjoyed the evenings around the fire pit. Local restaurants had friendly staff and food was home cooked ( Rachelle’s and the Hungry Hiker). Accommodations were clean. Understandably the WiFi was not very good. Staff at the hotel were prompt when needed. The breakers would trip when more than one appliance was in use, especially if the AC was in use. We enjoyed exploring the area and our hike up to Lion’s Head Lookout. Bring supportive shoes for the hike and water. There is a Foodland within walking distance for groceries and a Home Hardware, which closed by 6 pm. The best priced firewood was as you entered the Town, just past the LCBO.

wifi is poor. both wifi login suggested are not working properly . My cell phone data has no signal. thats why i cannot even know the temperature next day / get connected with my family in toronto. soap dispenser inside shower doesnt function properly. need to ask for hair dryer and extra garbage bags. towels are not clean, some hair on “new” towels. luckily i brought mine.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area, and we had a lovely view of the bay from our room. The room itself was very well equipped and comfortable. The only issue we had was with cleanliness. Some of the white towels had yellow stains, and the lower shelves of the bedside tables were dusty and sticky. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but the cleanliness could definitely be improved.

we, my wife and I, had a very bad experience. we were there for only one night and didn't expect a lot in terms of amenities but we didn't even have the basic amenities. No AC, a non functional TV, no WIFI and no mobile network inside the rooms as if the room walls were reinforced with lead. and the main door lock didn't work properly and the one key we had looked outdated and very easy to duplicate at a Walmart or a hardware shop kiosk. so we felt extremely unsafe here. I will be asking Expedia for a refund for recommending this place.
