Am speechless-People don’t always recall what you say but they remember how staff makes them feel.☹️
Hyppolene & Urvi were kind & sweet; please give them a raise & do all you can to keep them! The breakfast attendant was great & we tipped her.
Sadly, upon arrival, I had the worst hotel check in experience of my life with Angelica. She exhibited hostility,acting as if she was inconvenienced! We stay in hotels frequently & I’ve never been treated this badly. Her rudeness created tension, caused me to feel very uncomfortable, instantly regretting my decision to stay at the Concord Sleep Inn. Angelica’s negative energy was so pervasive, I actually asked if she was “always this friendly” just to let her know how inappropriate & impolite she was. She started arguing telling me I was instigative & talked over me, never once apologizing. She didn’t want to answer additional questions, insulting me saying that “the older generation didn’t show respect”. Apparently, she was oblivious to the disrespectful manner in which she initially treated me.
Not everyone should be working with the public. Perhaps Angelica never had the proper training in how to greet hotel guests? Maybe she had an off night but that’s still not okay . I’ve given workshops on how to properly treat customers! My company would never have hired her. Maybe paying higher wages would attract more caring employees?
This is the first time I’ve ever given a review like this. 😔
P. S. The lobby smelled strongly of weed.
