Two bedroom villas hosted 5 of us with a pull out couch to spare. The kitchen has everything you need, from sheet pan and pots to spatulas and a wine opener. The main pool was gorgeous and lovely to hang out in. Starbucks in the market had a basic menu, but had everything we needed. This was my second time staying here and it was even better than the first. Also, the trolley doesn’t just take you around the resort, but also to Crystal cove and Laguna! It was a blessing so we could drink and no one had to drive.

The property is huge. All landscape is mature and well taken care of and beautiful. The grounds are kept spotless. It looks like some rooms may be being re-furbished which is good to see as they are pretty outdated. Cost for food and drink is typical as you would see at a resort. Our villa was nicely furnished and comfortable. Kitchen was very out dated as were the bathrooms but we were very comfortable. We will definitely be staying again. The views will take your breath away. I gave it a 4* only because of the updating it needs. We had a great stay

I was recently at the Marriott Newport coastvillas. I was immediately impressed with the view. The sun was setting, and it was gorgeous. Standing in the lobby overlooking the three beautiful pools with the ocean in the background was quite a sight to behold, and then we went to our room, which was a two bedroom villa with Ocean view. I immediately knew one night was not going to be enough and I booked it for a second night and I will for sure go back. The staff was exceptional but special thanks goes to Vette at the check-in desk. She went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was perfect thank you vet and thank you Newport Marriott.

the room was great, beautiful property, so large - be prepared to walk! we were dropped off with a lot of luggage and children and had to walk up several hills, it was wild and seemed crazy. They said they offered rides from staff on golf carts but these were working men with one seat due to all their tools and gear and not looking to offer any of these rides. We wouldn't go back for this reason. If you don't have kids and travel light it would be ok!

Good location with beautiful views if you got a room with one which we didn't. This property does not give daily housekeeping service. They also encourage you to help out at the end of stay by stripping the bed and tidying up before checking out. The per night room rate was not cheap.
