Hampton Inn in Ruston needs a lot of help rooms are old and musty when the heater turned on had an awful smell. Bathroom shower would have been nice if the tub would drain properly and the Spicket in the tub which completely shut off so that the showers would have the force they needed.

The hotel stay itself was nice. I had no issues. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. The issue I had was after I checked out I had pre-pay for my room. They charged me three times prepaid for the prepay when I called the hotel asking about it I was told a manager would call me back the next day. I never got a call back. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Everything about this phase was amazing! Check in was fast, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the food choices were outstanding and above par! If I’m required to make a complaint it would be that the coffee was in the weak side….but hit and plentiful!

The breakfast wasn't good and the breakfast staff wasn't friendly at all. The elevator placement is very strange. It is at the end of the hall far from the entrance and check in desk.

The room had a musty odor with apparent water damage on the ceiling and down the wall. The furniture holding the refrigerator was water damaged and falling apart. The tile floor in the entry of the room and the bathroom had a sticky residue. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling. The TV didn't work and upon calling the front desk to ask for help, we were put on hold indefinitely and finally hung up.

Me and my family stayed at this hotel for one night, expecting it meets the basic needs for a hotel to service the people who visit, thia hotel is in such poor condition, the toilet wasn't flushing properly, it got clogged two times, then the electricity went off in the middle of me sending an important email for work, I'd like to request a refund for such bad experience we had. Please refund my money asap.

Lobby heading to the elevator had a gas smell Our room was not very clean at all. Bed had a bug under pillow bathroom garbage was not changed and besides the bed was someone’s charging cable Near tv tea bag tag on floor also

Everything was excellent. The only problem was the closet door would not close so it was inconvenient to hold door down to walk to the bathroom. It appeared as if someone tried to repair it with some kind of commercial adhesive but did not do a good job. Otherwise it was an excellent stay.

Positive: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. It was well situated from the events that we were in the area to attend. Negative: The lobby and hallways were extremely warm as if the AC was not functioning properly. The fire alarm went off 4 times at 4 am. No actual fire thankfully. Overall: Would stay there again if ever back in the area.

Reserved a King room, arrived and were told that no king rooms were available until the next night. The hotel was not busy and there were few cars in the parking lot. The hotel itself was dirty, the state of the room was not clean or properly cared for. Water behind the toilet on the floor, dead bugs in the bathroom, what looked like mold or mildew on the walls, horrible. Would not have stayed if we had not been on the road all day and booked a non-refundable reservation.
