Everything was very nice.my only complaint would be that we didn't have coffee available in our room for when we woke up and that our room was very warm. The bathroom floor was heated and it kept the whole room very warm. Our AC was set to 16, but we never got near that temperature. The staff was lovely and the location could not have been more beautiful.

Burg Schwarzenstein hotel and restaurants.
Wanting to end a long holiday with a couple of comfortable nights winding down we chose to spend two nights at Burg Schwarzenstein. Less than an hour from Frankfurt airport overlooking the Rhine valley it was perfectly placed for this. Whilst there is not much to do on site, the surrounding restaurants, villages and forests make this a great location whether travelling as a couple or family. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the views from the restaurant are outstanding. We tried both restaurants on site however the highlight was the meal down at Schloss Johannisburg one evening. The gourmet restaurant had interesting food however the combination of flavours and textures sometimes were sublime and sometimes bland and confusing. With the cost of this restaurant we expected much better consistency. Breakfast was good but very expensive. Back at the hotel the common areas are very pleasant if you want to sit around and read or have a pre dinner drink. Overall this is a beautiful hotel to stay at.
