Running water, mildew and weed
First off I usually love double tree hotels. This one was just off.
Plus: quick response to request for towels. Beds decently comfortable.
Cons: mold/mildew in bathroom shower. Very low water pressure. Shower faucet ran at a steady stream at all times. Called maintenance and they said they couldn’t fix it cause they’d have to shut water off to hotel to do it so just put towels down to dampen the noise so we could sleep. Kept having housekeeping trying to get in room on second day when we were inside and front desk kept calling saying they didn’t have us registered in the room on the second night even though I had already paid in full AND they confirmed 2 nights at checkin.
Overall this one is old and dated and in need of a good cleaning. Hallways smelled like weed.
Staying at a different double tree in Virginia later this month so not ready to give up on the brand in general. Just won’t stay here again.
