Really frustrating experience right from the get-go. I requested a non-smoking room. I got up to the room, exhausted from the travel, and it was very evidently a smoking room. I tried to ignore it, but I couldn’t so I had to go down to the desk and beg for a new room. I was told I was on a “non-smoking floor above a smoking floor and smoke travels.” Thanks for the physics lesson, but that doesn’t lessen the annoyance of having to pack up all my things and relocate to a new room, let alone the allergic reaction I had from spending so much time around cigarette smoke. Then, I called every day to have our room cleaned (because it’s by request only) and for the entirety of our four night stay, our room was never cleaned. Now, I do not need the room cleaned every day, I just wanted it cleaned once. We needed new towels and the bedding was not trustworthy from the get-go, so I wanted the room cleaned on the second day. This was literally never accommodated, despite the expensive “resort fee.” I called every day, sometimes multiple times. I had to beg for fresh towels to be delivered so I could shower and that’s what I had to settle for because that’s all I got. And the Rosie’s room service was frustratingly bad - the nachos were sopping wet, soft, and stale. The beef was flavorless. Just overall disappointed. This was a big bummer for me, a big fall from grace. This is not the Nugget I was hoping to come back to with fond childhood memories of Bertha, Tina, and Angel. Disappointed.
