Whether this is on the hotel or third party, still insane. We were told that if you are “local” you have to pay a $200 cash deposit. I could not find this stated on the website, in fact it specifically says this hotel does not take cash payments. I’m not sure if the third party should be in charge of fixing this, or if the hotel needs to get in contact with them to fix this. We were also given conflicting information when we arrived. After telling us it was $200, he said he was actually $500 but was doing us this favor. I also asked if local just meant anywhere in CO and we were told yes, but when we said we lived in Denver and had a license to show it, that was not considered local. I’m not sure if it was just miscommunication, but it was confusing and not helpful. Someone needs to fix this information asap, especially because if you don’t get the cash you don’t get a refund on the room.
