It was very quiet when we were there but it was nice, there is very little to do/eat nearby. A car is a must. You can travel into Brussels in 30 minutes using public transport (€8/day) which is convenient. Shower is annoying as it's a push button so every 10 seconds you need to press to keep it flowing.

Very good stay overall
On the whole, my stay was very good. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the area was quiet. The hotel/hostel is situated within a sports complex in a separate building. It is approximately 15-20 minutes walk from the nearest Metro station, about two-thirds of which is uphill. Brussels is full of rentable electric scooters and on the 2 days I didnt have luggage, i used one of these on the side streets to conquer the hill! There is a bus stop outside the hotel and the bus that stops there then turns around and goes back to the station, however check the times as it is infrequent. A couple of things that would have improved my stay: when I arrived, I used the main doors into the sports centre. I saw the hotel pointed out so followed the signs and ended up in the hotel but couldnt find the reception desk. The hotel reception is to your right immediately upon entering the sports centre - I saw it but assumed it was just for the spots centre - it is not! I didnt see any signs pointing this out, nor was it mentioned on my booking email. This would be a useful addition to the hotels page and email. Secondly, my room was allocated right in the middle of a school party of teenagers who were rather disruptive when they were present (not the hotel's fault). Perhaps a little more care could have been used when allocating the room so I wasn't placed here, although it seems there were not many twin rooms in the hotel so perhaps they were all in use and I got the last one.

nice short term place to stay
Nice place to stay short-term but the kitchen isn't really a kitchen, there are only microwave, sink and tables, nothing to be called a kitchen. There is only one female dorm in all building but what is nice is that you can extend your stay easily. Nice quality-price and easy access to center and university.

Basic but recommended for short stay at low price
This is very basic room for a short stay. It is located in the sports centre and on the outskirts of the forest, so a perfect location if you want to run or make any other sports activities. Room is similar to a student dorm, with basic comfort but there is free wifi available and surprisingly big flat screen TV. Bathroom is really basic, with shower fixed on the wall and a button you have to press every five seconds to continue showering. This in the end makes you to use more water than with the normal shower. But for this price in Brussels the room was quite decent and the metro station is less than 15 minutes nice walk away, or you may use already the bus 72 which stops directly in front of the hotel/sports centre.

Standard hostel, odd location.
The location is a bit odd - it is in a sports complex. I watched some locals playing soccer. Overall, a standard hostel besides that.

Clean and free parking, that's it. This is not a hotel; it's hostel attached to a sports center. There are dorms and single rooms.

New andClean Hostel located inside Sports Facility
At first I was surprised as it is not a hotel, but a hostel with rooms located in the back of the sports facility. But the rooms were very nice, very clean and affordable. The restaurant for breakfast is located in the sports cafe on the ground floor of the sports facility and is quite nice, I had dinner and breakfast there (breakfast was EUR 5 extra) and it was very good.

3 Fountains Frolic
Hostel feels a tad antiseptic initially - but it improves - the parking is immediately to the R as you approach and down a ramp - problem is that the sporties fill it up till late
Verified Hotels.com guest review

2/10 Poor

No too good - to put it mildly.
Room was smelly, Very Smelly; No soap in the communal toilet and Bathroom; Water machine had no cups; Expected some noise because it was a sport hostel, but this was another level, couldn't sleep all through the night, the kids were banging on doors and it was very very bad.
