This is an iconic hotel, unlikt the Hotel Ruiz Galindo in Fortín which is now abandoned, Hotel Mocambo mantains its character, sure needs a fresh coat of paint but other than that I am extremely pleased with my stay

The staff was great (although primarily all Spanish speakers) from the front desk to the housekeeping team. I though the rooms were great. The mattress was a bit worn out but the room was super clean and with AC. There were a number of indoor and outdoor pools and easy access to the ocean. The breakfast was great and only 200pesos.

Check in is at 3:00 pm however I had to wait until 5:00 pm to get my room, bathroom was flooded every night from the rain leaking trough the roof, no cable on TV, the staff was very helpful and kind.

As far as a budget friendly hotel near the beach and the city it’s hard to beat. For this I would rate it at 5 stars. The downsides are that the hotel is very dated, rooms and hotel areas are showing wear and tear but everything was clean. The walk over to the beach was close but you’re entering the public beach area. Staff seemed a bit annoyed with my presence.

The property is beautiful. Its beauty and history are incomparable, but property needs repairs. They have one restaurant with very little options and no room service. Location is not very convenient. The lady working the small gift shop is absolutely adorable very nice lady. The young man in the pool area goes above and beyond to make guests stay as pleasant as possible!

I work remotely and there was no wifi service. Staff is not kind at all, never showed a smile or a positive attitude. I called the front desk because I was not feeling week and they didn’t show any emphaty, just gave the phone from the pharmacy, They saw me waiting in the lobby for hours and never offered to call Me to my room once the medicine had arrived (which btw, I realized they had medicines in their store) Pictures are far from reality, facilities need a lot of maintenance. There were no Towels at the pool. Not recommended for handicapped people (lots of stairs without ramps)

En general el hotel es bonito muy amplio y grande pero le falta mucho mantenimiento y una buena remodelación, tiene algunas cosas muy inverosímiles como un gran agujero como de 50 centímetros de diámetro en lo alto de la pared que comunica el baño con la recámara , para que esta ese hoyo ahí ? Para que se pasen los olores de baño a la recámara ?? O para que se pase todo el vapor de la ducha a la recámara ?? Todo el techo es de madera y está lleno de hongos por la humedad que genera eso.

Muy bien, huespedes sin educación.
Un hotel antiguo con mucha historia, cómodo , tradicional, elegantr... Fue maravilloso. Me encantó la amabilidad y atención del personal, atención a peticiokes especiales. Nos encantaton las albercas la pasamos increíble, como detalle que debetian de atender: No permitan que ingieran alcohol en ellas. Otea cosa independiente al hotel, bos escontramos con un huésped desagradable que se molestó cuando entramos mi mami, mi sobrina y yo a la alverca techada y en nuestra estancia en la misma ofendió a mi mamá, no se vale. Las albercas son de uso de los huespedes asi que todos tenemos derecho a las mismas sin sentirnos agredidos. De ahi en fuera lo demás bien.
