Check in was flawless, welcomed by the floor staff, receptionist, and given a lovely welcome drink, truly enjoyed. Asked for a late check in and the receptionist was so accommodating and just lovely to us. Called then to get breakfast in bed for 11am and it was delivered bang on time and lovely and hot. Beautiful hotel
I've reviewed the hotel stay separately through a survey from them. Overall this is a beautiful hotel and was a lovely place to stay. We would have spent more money dining at the hotel had it been better staffed; it was too difficult to get service when we were hungry. But goodness, if you get a chance to stay here, take it! We absolutely loved our room and our view. The hotel itself is just beautiful.

Great location with lake views and spacious rooms. Service was top notch all around. Bar is fabulously decorated with attentive service. We dined off property and there were many good options to explore in Galway. Parking is easy as is local transportation. Do not recommend driving off property to dinner etc as parking in the city is limited so we used the readily available taxis and it worked great. The decor could use some updating (style preference more than wear and tear) and that’s a minor suggestion.
