Descend into the depths of Colossal Cave Mountain Park, where limestone chambers whisper tales of outlaws who once hid their loot in these natural vaults. The Rincon Mountains District of Saguaro National Park offers trails winding through forests of iconic cacti, arms raised like desert sentinels. Cool off at Tanque Verde Falls after a dusty hike, where desert-parched travelers are rewarded with refreshing pools. Local ranching heritage lives on through horseback adventures across landscapes that haven't changed since the Vail brothers established their spreads in the 1800s. For a taste of the unexpected, Charron Vineyards proves grapes can thrive alongside cacti, offering wine tastings with mountain views. LivAway Suites Tucson

LivAway Suites Tucson

8/10 Good
"Pros: New hotel with shopping/restaurant options nearby. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Cons: for a place that’s more of a long term multiple-night stay hotel, a comfortable place to sit like a small sofa would be nice. There is only 1 smaller vinyl chair and 2 bar stools to sit on. There’s a 2-burner cook top but no pots/pans or cooking utensils. There were 2 plates, 2 bowls, 2 spoons, 2 knives, 2 glasses and 1 fork wet, with bits of food on them in the dishwasher. The bathroom had 1 bar of soap and 1 bottle of shampoo (no lotion, no conditioner, no hair dryer.) The WORST part of our stay was hearing the BEEEEP BEEEEP BEEEEEP of semi trucks constantly backing into the Costco right across the parking lot all night long…..! If you’re a light sleeper, this is not the place for you!"

"Although this property was a little on the older side, it is very well maintained. Only regret we have as a family of 4 was that we didn’t spend enough time exploring the place because we checked in late. Kiddos ordered room service for breakfast and they were absolutely impressed by how fresh and warm everything was."
