Misión Express Tampico

I received a great service by both reception´s and cleaning staff. The room was nice and clean, but it was smaller than expected. The minisplit was not working at all. Once fixed, it only lasted a couple hours, since I arrived later that same night, and it was not working again. The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations, since there was good food variety. A detail that caught my attention was that the restaurant-bar at the top of the building (Shrimp Republic) was always lonely. I went several times and peered to see if any customers had arrived, but even though it was Saturday (3PM-6PM), it was always lonely. I ordered a tequila cocktail, and some meat. The drink was not cold, and it was a very small amount of meat. So I noticed the real reason of the restaurant loneliness.

Rooms are dirty, the bathroom doesnt have air conditioner so is always hot. The ac is on the walls so you can see mold where the water of the ac drops

No cable in room ,bed was tough.

No way this way is 3-stars, even for Tampico. I stayed here while in town or a conference and can with almost 100% certainty say I will never darken the door of this hotel again. Where do I start? First off, there is one elevator for all the guests in this at least seven story hotel. Make sure you bring something to read while you wait for the elevator! In my room there was this damp humidness that really made for some great sleeps and the sheets were super fun all humid like that. Also, my room had one small window, which made it feel like I was two days "in the hole" in some prison there. Tampico is a great down with nice hotels. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra USD 10-15/night for way more than USD 10-15 worth of contrast.

I am agree with cleaning and hous keeper but the staff they calling me at med night a bout to change the room I booked that room and I payed far that but the first rooms that they give it was like a gail and it have smail and the window was close there was no window to came the crush air in the room and ask them to change and they change that and a few days later they change that too I don’t know what they did that to me I am not satisfied with that

Everything that place was very clean and security was wonderful

Nice hotel, center of down town, nice restaurants especially new one on the 9th floor, nice views
