Clean, Friendly and Great Location
Staff were wonderful. Everything was very clean. Great location, quiet at night but only a few blocks to the Malecon. We felt very safe. Pool area is very small. 6 lounge chairs with only 4 cushions and a table with 6 chairs around it. Disappointing that certain people treated it as a resort and put towels and books on lounge chairs in the early morning and then didn't come back until the late afternoon. There should be a sign posted to stop guests from doing this. For the booking price there should have been many more amenities. I've never stayed at a hotel that offered so little! No drinking glasses, coffee maker (including in the lobby, ice, bedside clock, balcony chairs, fridge...nothing except furniture, towels, shower gel and 2 bottles of water a day. Even if you don't want to put a coffee maker in the rooms at least have a pot of coffee on the go in the lobby in the morning! For what it would cost to do that your guests would probably re-book in the future. I probably wouldn't book again simply because there should've been more for the booking price. Also, it's advertised with balconies and the balcony is about 2 feet wide with no chairs or tables. The only way to use the balcony was with the interior chairs placed sideways. Motion sensor lighting on the stairs and hallways was inadequate as you were halfway down the hall before they came on and same with the stairs. WIFI in the rooms was almost non-existant.
