Valero Grand Suites by Swiss-Belhotel Makati

Overall we had a good time here. The area is fine although it takes a 15 minute walk to get to a mall. The two bedroom apartment was big and spacious. The only real issues related to the condition and the cleanliness. Sitting the stay it rained for a week straight and this flooded the bathrooms. Every day there was water all over the floor and seeping down through the ceiling from the floor above. There came also water in through the bedroom window. There were small insects and maggits growing in the bathroom walls towards the end of our stay. The other issue was the the toilets could not flush most of the time because the cisterne was broken. They promised to fix it but it was only fixed the last two days we were there. The cleaning itself was not very thorough and done in a hurry it seemed. However one guy did ask the cleaning and it seems he just had too much to do. Despite these issues we still had a great time there, and would not rule out coming back... Then we would just hope these issues would be fixed so we could have an even better stay

Had a great experience. Staff was very helpful and always smiling. The restaurant also had great tasting food.

It was great except the bed was hard

House keeping is terrible. If you ask for water, it takes 3 hours and 3 calls. When a different room flush the toilet, you get burnt in the shower. You just can't enjoy a shower with out getting burn. House keeping won't restore shampoo, conditioner etc WiFi very weak in the room. Room has so many wholes, just sloppy remodeling work. Worried who can hear what happens in the room.
